Question today was asked me....? And Response

I had a question asked me today by someone, "What makes me different from another artist?"  I didn't have to think about it at all.. I have a different style, I have my own heart in it since I was 4 years old and my Grandmother would give me pantyhose cardboard to draw on so to waste not and get good use out of plain hardboard white paper where I would draw and paint women  in entertainment.  My family in Germany would send me Pelikan Paints and pens to paint and draw with.  Danke Tante Heidi und Onkel Manfred!!! I entered in first grade my first art contest at a Mall for Black History Month and won.....and had my first taste of people seeing my work and enjoying it.  I pursued my passion from there by looking for teachers would would teach me.....since my Private school due to budget cuts did not have any art or music classes. I found a wonderful teacher who taught me for free because she saw the desire for knowledge...I continued from there to fly through high school selling my paintings to teachers and other clients and proceed to Woodbury University where I found one on one higher learning...I continued to build my style by working at Extreme Studios where I did comics book art and design studios in CA and preceeded to move to Vegas where I did work for the Movie Studios, Gaming Studios, Vegas Entertainment and created the Key to the City of Las Vegas.  In Vegas I opened my gallery where I show my artwork and go on exhibits around and abroad.

I have been creating my style pieces for over 25 years now and live and breath it.  I love to paint showgirls because of the electric energy you feel from the shows I project to the canvas, I bring my experience from my comic book work to give more of a illustrative look to my work.
I work in Oils, Acrylics, and Watercolors to bring my pieces to life with a upbeat dazzle and excitement to my work where I can communicate the adventure of the Las Vegas Stage onto the Canvas.

My work can be seen in the Mayor's office and on the U.K. Travel Channel on the show the Ethical Hedonist.

I am almost finished with the Mask!!! I am really happy about how it's turning out....
I have just a little more work to do on it.

I am really excited to help Raise Money for Innovations International Charter School of Nevada.
Every kid deserves the opportunity to learn and be creative....The money raised will supply the school with computers and software, supplies for robotic classes, art supplies and musical instruments, textbooks, novels and department needs....such as desks, Bunsen Burners, Test Tubes, etc.

I went to private school as a kid, they stopped all art classes and music classes due to budget cuts....I literally went out on my own to find people who would show me techniques in grade school and when I got older I went to music teachers and art teachers to receive more education.  I was determined.
This is something close to my heart....because I know the yearning for knowledge and creativity.

Working Late tonight

I Love love love late nights....Its the Magic hour.

Do to all the things I have experienced in the last couple of months I thought it would be a
chance to express things I want to get across.
